About Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Skewer in the Sewer
TMNT: Skewer in the Sewer is a quick-reaction food game set in the Ninja Turtles’ not-so-glamorous home base: the sewers. The crew’s calling it a well-earned BBQ night, but someone has to handle the skewers—and that’s you.
It pulls its vibe straight from the TMNT cartoon world: familiar faces, playful chaos, and that “friends hanging out” energy. You can jump in as Don, Raph, Leo, Mikey, April, or Casey, each basically cheering you on while you try not to ruin dinner. It’s a simple setup, but it feels like a classic Cartoon Games mini-challenge: short rounds, easy to learn, and weirdly hard to put down once you start chasing a better score.
How To Play
Core idea
Food items fly by, and you build skewers by dragging your mouse through the things you want to grab. Good food adds points. Bad picks mess up your run.
Controls
- Mouse only: click, hold, and drag across items to skewer them
What to catch (and what to avoid)
- Good stuff: pizza slices, ice cream, sausages, tomatoes, and more
- Avoid: red tuna cans (touching them costs you points and/or lives depending on the mode)
Modes
- Practice: a low-pressure way to get used to the speed (you can stop anytime)
- Normal: you have limited chances—each tuna mistake takes a life; no timer, so you can play carefully
- Arcade: the hectic one—about 90 seconds on the clock, lots of food at once, and it’s all about keeping your hands moving
Scoring tricks
- Most foods score 1 point, while special drinks (like the pink juice) score 2
- Stack up consecutive good catches to boost your total
- Watch for the snowflake: hit it to slow everything down for a short time and rack up easy skewers
