How To Play
In Hungry Knight, gameplay is all about swift decision-making and efficient strategy. Here's how to dive in:
Controls:
- Move: Use the arrow keys to traverse the field in eight directions.
- Attack: Strike enemies with the
Zkey. - Dash: Evade danger with the
Xkey.
Objectives:
- Defeat Enemy Types: Regular foes fall in a single hit, while bosses demand three precise attacks. Beware—the knight perishes instantly upon contact with enemies.
- Survive the Juice Timer: Keep an eye on the juice timer, displayed at the bottom-left corner. It counts down from 10 seconds and can be replenished by collecting cherries dropped by enemies. Normal enemies drop one cherry, while bosses yield three. Watch out for rare purple cherries, which temporarily freeze the timer and speed up your movement.
- Boss Masks and The Altar: Defeat all three bosses to collect their mystical masks. Return these masks to the altar to revive the knight's friend and complete the game. Each victory pushes you closer to solving the mystery and achieving your ultimate goal.
Challenge Mode:
Ready for something tougher? After completing the standard mode, players can try Starvation Mode, where the juice timer depletes twice as fast, testing your survival skills to the limit.
